Managing VMware vSphere VMFS
VMFS datastores serves as repositories for virtual machines. Here I have created two VMFS data stores and I could increase the size of the data store as well as delete one of the datastore.
First I have renamed the NFS data store to Local ESXI01.
Then created a VMFS data store with 9GB space.
Once it is created I have expanded it to 10GB
I could find 8GB free space.
Then I have created one more share with 10 GB space, Now we can find two datastores with 10GB capacity.
We can also delete the datastore by right clicking on the datastore and go tho All vCenter actions and delete datastore option.
