Net701- VMware Lab 5

Using The VMware vSphere Web Client

The web client is one of the ways to access vCeenter server for doing the administration. Here we will have a look at the web client and common features of the web client.

The web client can be accessed through the web browser using the link. Once I have entered the link it gives me option to download client integration program, which will provide access to virtual machine's console in the web client.

Once I have logged in, I could see the options and objects which are available for the administration.

Here I have checked some options like hide all getting started pages, pin and unpin pans on the left side.

Now we will check how to schedule the upgrade of VMs. We have to shut down the vertual machine.

Then in the edit we can find the upgrade option. Ensure the compatibility with ESXi5.5 and later by selecting the option.

Now we can tearn on the machine.

That is all from the Web client lab, now we can use this web client to administrate ESXi host.
